Italian Lessons & Vino: Traveler Basics
Ottimista’s popular Italian language lessons are back! Get the most out of your next trip to Italy by learning how to navigate around hotels, restaurants, shops, airports and train stations - and make friends with the locals - all in
Italiano!
We’re pleased that Bergamo-Italy native Timothy Morzenti has returned to lead an interactive session in basic conversational Italian on Ottimista’s patio. This lesson will focus on the key vocabulary and phrases every traveler needs to know. No prior knowledge of the language is required.
At the end of the lesson you’ll enjoy a 30-minute Italian wine tasting seminar, paired with light
antipasti.
Cost: $50/pp including lesson, wine tasting & small bites.

Ottimista Social at Sprout
(Event Location: 1828 Union Street, SF)
Attention all new San Francisco mommies and daddies - this is your chance to get out of the house and enjoy happy hour with your pals and other new parents, while browsing Sprout's organic baby duds or watching junior play happily nearby. Union Street neighbors Ottimista Enoteca-Cafe and Sprout have teamed up to host the first (of many, we hope) Ottimista Social at Sprout on Thursday March 18th. Ottimista will set up shop on Sprout's back patio, weather pending, and offer up an array of Italian red, white and bubbly wines, as well as small bites like arancini, cheese and salumi. All of this deliciousness can be yours for just $20, which includes a bottomless glass (!), antipasti and 10% off all Sprout purchases during the event.
Parents are encouraged to come with or without their children. Children are welcome to enjoy Sprout's playroom while moms and dads socialize, but please note that supervision will NOT be provided. Parents are responsible for ensuring the safety of their own little nuggets.
Please RSVP by Tuesday March 15th to info@sproutsanfrancisco.com or call 415 359 9205
Cost: $20/pp (cash only please)
